I love hunting and I found out that my uncle was going on Thanksgiving so I went with him. We were dog hunting for deer. It was fun. The hunt and later after. We saw 3 deer and my uncle could have shot the 1st 1, but he was too afraid of shooting the guy that was on the same road. Now this guy was a good while away from us and he was behind the trees and there was no way Uncle Bud (the uncle I was hunting with) could shoot him. And the doe was right there just looking at us until she could hear the dogs after her. Then there was a deer, we couldn't tell how big it was or if it was a buck or a doe, but he could've shot it. Then my cousin, Brad, who was hunting with us, saw it and gave it up because he said it was too small.
Later that night I watched the guys skin the deer. It was cool, but they kept showing the heart to everybody.
Then 2 women started 2 fires in the same fire pit. My cousin, Jeff took over 1 fire and some other guy took over the other 1 and tried to see who could build the best fire. There was a point where the fires finally combined and the flame was AT LEAST 15 feet in the air. We were about to burn the trees down. Then, after the flame went down, we started burning a couch and went home.
It was awesome, but I learned a few things from this hunt:
My 1st journal post! Yay me! ^_^
Oh, anyway. It snowed in Moncks Corner, South Carolina! O_o And it was BEFORE January! It was only for a while and it was mixed with the rain and it didn't stick, but it was still SNOW! I have NEVER seen snow before January in my life. Especially before Christmas and Thanksgiving! I mean, I was wearing tank tops, shorts and flip flops in January and Febuary this year and I was swimming in my cousin's pool in January and Febuary. And now, it's been a little less than a year and it's snowing during Thanksgiving. If this continues, it might snow on Christmas! I really hope it snows some more!
Thanks for reading
